Protoap is a mobile application developer for Hiptop mobile devices, branded T-Mobile Sidekick, T-Mobile Sidekick Slide, T-Mobile Sidekick LX, and all other variations. We provide quality applications to help make your user experience and life easier when using these devices.

Some applications have been discontinued for the LX and Slide variation Hiptop devices. These applications include ShowCase and TrackArt. They are still available on older devices like the Sidekick 2 and Sidekick 3. You may still pruchase those applications on those platforms.

// MusicTap - Pure Hiptop 2 Hiptop Music Listening Community Application

Protoap has developed the first pure Hiptop 2 Hiptop Music Listening Community. This application will allow Hiptop users to connect, discuss and see what their friends are listening to on their Hiptop device using the Sonic Boom Music Player. Users can build their buddy list using their friends device username. Information shared in this application include, Song titles, Album title, Artist name, and Album art (if available). This application is currently in testing for release and publication.
